I must write you, to tell you that you have any absolutely OUTSTANDING person and employee working for you: Bruce M.

 I came into Lewis for the first time last August to look for tile to redo my old, disgusting 1980’s builder-grade, white melamine cabinets/worn-down to the brown white Formica counter tops and peel-and-stick tile kitchen.

Since I have never undertaken anything like this, and financially, this isn’t exactly the BEST time for me to do this (I was forced to) I was completely overwhelmed. For years, I had been pulling and saving pics that I liked – thinking that at some point – I would redo my kitchen, so I had an idea in my head what I wanted.

I brought all of my pics with me, met Bruce, and he knew EXACTLY what I wanted (ultra modern). Bruce was able to envision what I was trying to achieve – and after meeting with him several times, I ordered my tile, countertops and sink through you. Again, he bent-over backwards – not only to save me $$$, but did some amazing trouble-shooting as well. I have learned that NOTHING ever goes smoothly in renovating!

Bruce checked in with me regularly during the entire demo and construction, making sure appointments with the countertop fabricators and everyone else were timed perfectly.

 There is an old saying that “no one is indispensable” … to me, Bruce is INDISPENSABLE.

 The kitchen is finally finished and is absolutely STUNNING! If I ever have money again?, I have window treatments that need to be replaced throughout the entire house, and a full bath and powder room left to redo.

 You know I’ll only come to you/Bruce.

On September 24th your installers completed the laying of a manufactured wood floor in our living room/dining room area. On October 4th your installers completed the laying of tile in our master dressing area.

Thanks to the help of your sales staff and the quality work of the installers, we are very pleased with the results.

We worked with Jo and after a problem developed, Al helped us find a new solution and resolve the problem quickly and efficiently.

Michelle was friendly and helpful as we planned our installation. The installers themselves showed a commitment to excellence. They were careful and thorough when they installed the products but were also thorough in the clean up process. Without his knowing, I even saw one of the men who had installed the wood floor, sweep the patio where he had left some sawdust.

Dear Ms. Erwin,

A week ago we had Lewis carpeting installed in our home in Wilmette. I just thought it was important to let you know that the team Lewis sent out for this job, Freddy and Patricio, were amazing! They were here all day, as it was a big recarpeting job consisting of three bedrooms, one large hallway and three staircases. I am sure you are aware that it is not always easy for the homeowner to have workmen in their home all day, nor I am sure is it easy for the workmen to have the homeowner home while they are working!

Not only were Freddy and Patricio here on the second floor trying to do their job that day, but a carpenter and electrician were also here working on the first floor (with some minor electric being done in the same rooms where they were laying carpeting). Freddy and Patricio were considerate, focused, and also went out of their way to make sure the phone wires they carpeted around were done properly as requested by the electrician. They also never even took a break! Since the Wilmette garbage collectors take carpeting, they cut, rolled and taped it up to accommodate the collection regulations - with many trips out to our alley with all the old carpeting and padding.

We have done a lot of construction and remodeling on this home over the past 34 years. These two men were among the most please and competent workers we have had the pleasure of working with. You should be proud to have them on your team.
