Inspired by the majestic Point Imperial in the Grand Canyon, one of the most visited spots on the North Rim and is the highest point on either rim. From here you can look eastward toward the junction of the Colorado River and beyond that, to the Painted Desert, opening into the gaping chasm of Marble Canyon.
